Dr. Justin Maxwell was so impressed with Intermountain Health, after completing his residency here that he joined in 2014 immediately after graduating from medical school. He likes the variety of patients he encounters in his practice with Intermountain Health and he enjoys seeing patients improve after he gives them joint injections. Dr. Maxwell grew up in Florida and later moved to Las Vegas. From a young age, he was drawn to a career in medicine because of his aptitude for the sciences and affinity for helping others. Dr. Maxwell earned his medical degree from Touro University and his BS from UNLV. In college he competed in the Junior Olympics. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and was voted Top Doctor in 2017 by My Vegas Magazine. In his spare time, Dr. Maxwell enjoys cooking because he finds it therapeutic. He also likes to work out at the gym, travel, read, and play the guitar.
