At Intermountain Health, Dr. John Hou is an internal medicine provider who loves caring for senior patients. Dr. Hou enjoys creating senior care plans and helping patients through difficult times. He puts a special focus on preventative care and likes receiving positive results when measures go as planned. He speaks fluent Mandarin, Taiwanese and English and can assist patients in any of these languages. In his free time, Dr. Hou enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and poker. He also has children and likes spending time with them and immersing himself in their activities. Dr. Hou is also involved with several charities including Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children. For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Hou attended the University of California Berkley where he majored in biochemistry, a subject he is passionate about to this day. Dr. Hou received his MD at New York Medical College and completed his internship at the University of California Irvine. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has practiced medicine for over 20 years.
