Dr. Saira Asadullah grew up in Pakistan and was influenced by her parents to go into medicine. She joined Intermountain Health's Tenaya myGeneration Senior Clinic because of all the satisfied and happy patients she observed here, as well as the peaceful work environment.Dr. Asadullah is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Geriatric Medicine. She has been practicing medicine for the last twenty years. She earned her MD in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. She then finished her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Peoria. She completed fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Nebraska in Omaha.As a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, she taught classes for physicians and medical students on vitamin deficiencies, renal failure, and COPD and asthma and has published articles on those same topics in professional journals. She specializes in geriatrics, women’s health, diabetes management, hypertension, and primary care.In her free time, Dr. Asadullah enjoys travel, reading, and cooking. Her husband is a fellow medical professional.
