Description
Carrie Lofton APRN-CNP, joined the Intermountain Health team in 2020 when she relocated to Las Vegas to be near family. She has a strong clinical background in acute care settings, including emergency medicine, trauma, cardiology, and vascular surgery providing care to patients with a variety of systemic health challenges, including heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, and heart disease. Before joining Intermountain Health, Carrie worked as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, an ER Nurse, an Advanced Practice Nurse in Trauma and Surgical Services, a Telemetry RN, and a Nursing Clinical Instructor and Adjunct Faculty Member. Carrie is board-certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Carrie grew up in Elgin, Illinois, northwest of Chicago. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her son and traveling to new places with her family.
