She completed an Internal Medicine Residency with Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Dr. Whitmore's seven years of service in the United States Air Force’s Military Medical Corps, where she earned the rank of Major, is a testament to her dedication and service. Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Whitmore loves the complexity of diagnosis and treatment in patients with multiple medical conditions. The daughter of an internist and a registered nurse, she was destined to serve others and finds the most satisfaction when she positively impacts the lives of others. When able, Dr. Whitmore loves to travel to ancient sites and exotic places to seek out new experiences and adventures. Most of the time, however, you will find her cozy at home with her cat and dogs.
