  • Deanna M. Ojeda

    DVM

I am originally from Bakersfield, California and I received my DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1993. I have enjoyed caring for pets and their owners here at VCA Nellis Animal Hospital since 1993. I enjoy chatting with clients, learning more about them and their interests, and advocating for their pets. When I am not at work, I participate in Career Day and Reading Fairs at neighborhood schools. I am an active member of the Tortoise Group where I volunteer to teach children how to examine their school tortoise, create field notes, teach husbandry, and give anatomy lessons. My own pets keep me busy too:. Scooter - a 14 year-old special needs, 3-legged Siamese cat. Reese - a 15 year-old Shepherd mix. Littles - a 12 year-old Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. Monster - a 28 year-old Umbrella Cockatoo. Quarterpounder - a 23 year-old desert tortoise. .
