British Berkefeld System
The British Berkefeld system is a versatile water filtration system that is perfect for various applications such as at home, during travel, outdoor activities, or in unexpected emergencies. The upper chamber nests within the lower chamber for easy transport and stands at a height of only 13 inches. The system includes four 7-inch Super Sterasyl Ceramic Filter Elements, four wingnuts, four washers, four blocking plugs, a stainless steel lid, spigot, and a rubber gasket to protect the base. The height of the system when in use is 19.25 inches, the diameter is 8.5 inches, and it weighs 7 pounds empty. It is designed to serve 1 to 4 people and has a maximum filtration flow rate of 12 to 15 gallons (45 to 57 liters) of water per day when configured with four 7-inch Super Sterasyl Ceramic Filter Elements.
